Raise your hands if you have ever tried sucking the helium air from the balloons at a party and then said some funny thing in the high-pitched voice. (hahahaha singing the Minion’s Potato song)
It’s so fun right? Making a fool of yourself and your friends.
Now listen closely. There’s this place where you can do that, to mark an end of your delicious meal. YES! It’s a dessert created by Chef Grant Achatz. The “balloon” is made from Green Apple Taffy and the “string” is made from dehydrated green apple. It’s filled with helium just like normal balloon. And what you do is sucking that helium and chewing the sugar afterwards.
For those of you who are broke college students like me, time to save up and have a time-of-your-life meal in Chicago haha. My new career goals: having enough money to eat at (at least) this 3-michelin star restaurant.Nothing is impossible. 😛
